You know how sometimes you call customer service and get someone who’s obviously stationed in Neverland? We know how frustrating that is so you won’t find that at City CarShare. We’re a local nonprofit business with real, live people who live down the street from you or just a quick MUNI ride away. We’re even known for giving a recommendation or two on places to check out (or avoid if you’re visiting).

There’s something about locally based customer service that’s just easier and more fun. Our member services staff is all local and second to none when helping you with your travel or trip plans, because we speak Bay Area. We know you don’t want to walk through the Stockton Tunnel or over Twin Peaks to get to our closest Pod, so we can make smart recommendations to get you there.

Another advantage to being a local nonprofit is you’ll find us mingling with members at myriad local events, partnering with other local organizations, and even volunteering with various parks and other nonprofits. Because we’re from here, we try to give back as much as we can, and we work hard to contribute to a healthier Bay Area.
