For students who care about the environment and occasionally need a car, City CarShare has a special plan for participating universities.

If you are a qualifying member of UC Berkeley, UC Hastings College of the Law, UCSF, or City College of San Francisco, we have a special plan for you. We have deeply discounted membership service fees and you get to enjoy the same low driving rates as a ShareLocal members. And while we require that our members be over 21 years of age, you can share one of our cars as a student if you’re 18 years old. Students of other colleges and universities can email memberservices@citycarshare.org to learn more on how to join.

• Premium Insurance – up to $1 million per incident
• Maintenance and 24-hour roadside assistance – freedom from worry
