We love the Bay Area. As a nonprofit and the only locally based car share provider, this is our home and we put every dollar we make right back into the community. Throughout the year, we share the word about our service at lots of street fairs, community meetings and neighborhood events.

Many of our members volunteer during these events, making an active contribution toward a cleaner environment and fewer cars on our streets. Of course, volunteering is also a great way to grow car sharing while meeting diverse and wonderful people.

Please join us by volunteering for an event! Contact marketing@citycarshare.org to sign-up for specific events. To get ongoing volunteer announcements for events and office work, email us at volunteers@citycarshare.org.

As always, City CarShare members who volunteer can receive 1 free hour of driving for every hour they volunteer* and each volunteer gets one of our highly coveted CCS tee-shirts.

If public speaking is not your thing, we are also looking for volunteers to help us hang posters and distribute materials in your neighborhood. If you are interested, please email marketing@citycarshare.org and specify which neighborhood you can help with.
